A tribute to the legend.

The Aria Pro II Cliff Lee Burton Signature Bass faithfully recreates the iconic SB-1000 that Cliff used during the early days of Metallica the bass that helped define a generation of heavy music. Every detail has been carefully restored to capture the tone, feel, and appearance of Cliff’s original instrument. From the distinctive body shape and high-output active circuit to the solid neck through construction, this limited edition model delivers the unmistakable punch and sustain that made the SB series legendary.

More than just a collector’s piece, this is a fully functional instrument built to perform,  honoring Cliff’s uncompromising musicianship and the enduring legacy he left behind.

Cliff Burton Signature

Cliff Burton’s signature is inscribed on the back of the headstock –

a mark of authenticity and tribute to his enduring legacy.

QHB-1 Bridge

The SB-CLB features the original QHB-1 bridge, crafted from solid brass for enhanced sustain, resonance, and classic vintage tone.

BB Circuit

The “B.B. Circuit” was one of the signature features that brought SB basses to stardom. It provides incredible sonic flexibility, literally at the turn of a single knob. Each of the six presets adjusts the frequency of a low-pass filter, dramatically shaping the character of the bass tone.

Original Gig Bag
