The guitar is in excellent condition please see all photos as they are part of the description.
 
Only played a few times and overall very clean with two minor blemishes from shipping. One on the back and a faint scratch on the top between the pickups, hard to see in person but showed up more in photos. The scratch stops before the bridge pickup. Both happened when the guitar was shipped with no case and the accessories bag came open spilling the tremolo arm and adjustment tools into the box causing the marks. Being a relic finish it does not deter from the look or playability in any way.
 
All electronics work with no issues as well as the truss rod. Schecter does not include a bag or case but this one comes with new Schecter case (a 230 dollar value).

From its outrageous lines to the 25.5" scale length, the Gates Custom-S is built to dish out down-tuned, high-gain riffing. Its 3-piece mahogany neck is carved to a fast profile with great access to all 24 frets. And its ebony fretboard is rounded to a 14" radius, letting you grab those huge bends and wide vibrato. Finally, the guitar's extreme contours ensure this guitar is as balanced and comfortable as it is aggressive. If metal is your thing, you really can't go wrong with this instrument.

You'll be hard pressed to beat the sustain and attack you'll get out of this guitar's high-output Schecter Synyster Gates signature humbucking pickup at the bridge position.
