This premium Japanese-built axe exudes instant attitude, thanks to its offset V-shaped body, while its compound-radius fretboard provides the perfect platform for unleashing furious riffage and shred-approved pyrotechnics. The Rhoads RR24-MG delivers enough output to flatten the first 10 rows, thanks to its active EMG humbuckers, along with incredible high-end cut, fluid sustain, and laser-precise articulation. And when it comes time to unleash your arsenal of whammy bar tricks, the Rhoads RR24-MG's Gotoh GE1996T double-locking tremolo will effortlessly oblige. The Jackson MJ Series Rhoads RR24-MG includes rock-solid Gotoh sealed die-cast tuners, convenient Luminlay side dots, and aggressive-looking pearloid shark fin fingerboard inlays.

The MJ Series Rhoads RR24-MG sports a compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12-inch radius that keeps things comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16-inch radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out — providing you with the best of both worlds. What's more, the Rhoads RR24-MG's 3-piece, neck-through-body design will leave you flying high with near-endless sustain.
 
Active EMG 85/81 pickups make your amp scream
 
The Jackson MJ Series Rhoads RR24-MG's active EMG humbuckers spit out enough heat to maximize your amp's gain, sustain, and harmonic content. In the bridge position, you get an EMG 81 ceramic pickup, which offers blistering output and still sings with a balanced tone. In neck position, you'll find an EMG 85 alnico humbucker, which is voiced a little fatter and sweeter than 81 and makes a more well-rounded option for rhythms. These high-octane pickups give you plenty of punch and serious bite — just what you need to take a ride on the crazy train.
 
Gotoh tremolo dive-bombs with the best of them
 
For expressive performance, the MJ Series Rhoads RR24-MG comes armed with a recessed Gotoh GE1996T tremolo. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have found this double-locking trem is one of the best high-end licensed Floyd Rose models out there. It's made with premium components, including a hardened-steel baseplate, steel saddles, and a machined brass sustain block. Like all classic locking tremolos, the Gotoh GE1996T tolerates depraved amounts of whammy bar abuse without going out of tune. So, shriek, flutter, squeal, dive-bomb, and make crazy animal sounds — the Rhoads RR24-MG is equipped for it all.
