2010 ESP LTD Kirk Hammett KH-2 SE - Greenburst - Preproduction Prototype!

2010 ESP LTD Kirk Hammett KH-2 SE - Greenburst - Preproduction Prototype!

Welcome to Kevin's Wall of Sound! Check out all of my listings and see what's new this week.

The guitar is in excellent condition, please see all photos as they are part of the description.

An amazing find in nearly unplayed condition, this is the preproduction prototype to the 2011 KH-2 SE Limited Edition Greenburst models.

I was able to confirm this directly from ESP via the photos and serial number. I can provide the email and will add a screenshot of it as well to the listing.

You can see the differences from the production run in the photos:

Has factory installed EMG's instead the passive ESP pickups / Says KH-202 on the end of the fretboard instead of KH-SE / Built in ESP's China based factory instead of the Korean factory the 300 limited edition models were made.

Since Kirk was the person who brought this finish idea to ESP it is possible he saw this prototype and said yes to producing them or even had it in his possession. Of course that is here say at best but if you know Kirk ask him for me lol.

Includes original ESP case and tremolo bar.

The cost for UPS shipping within the Continental U.S. is $100.

Worldwide shipping is available. Please contact me for an exact shipping cost prior to making a purchase.

I welcome offers on all listings. For any inquiries, trade proposals or any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at kevin@kevinswallofsound.com. Thank you!
